1) Burna Boy ft. Youssou N’oour – Level Up (Twice As Tall)
“Twice As Tall” is Burna Boy’s 5th Studio album a follow up to; ‘African Giant’, ‘Outside’, ‘On A Spaceship’ and ‘L.I.F.E’ (Leaving an Impact For Eternity). The new music project consists is 53 minutes playtime which consists of 15 tracks (including the lead single ‘Wonderful‘) with guest acts; Youssou N’Dour (Senegalese singer -songwriter), Naughty By Nature (American hip-pop trio), Sauti Sol (Kenyan Afro-pop band), Chris Martin (English singer -songwriter) & Stormzy (British rapper). With productions from Timbaland, Mike Dean, Telz, Rexxie and LeriQ.
The 15-track album was be executive produced by Diddy, Bosede Ogulu, and Burna Boy. #TWICEASTALL“.
2) Burna Boy – Wonderful
It’s the Nigerian star’s first release since March’s “Odogwu.”
“Wonderful” precedes Twice as Tall, Burna Boy’s upcoming album, which is set for release later this summer. It follows last year’s African Giant, which has earned more than 162 million streams to date in the U.S., according to the analytics company Alpha Data. 2019 also saw Burna Boy contribute to Dave’s “Location” (Top 10 in the U.K.), Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift (which debuted at Number Two in the U.S.), and Stormzy’s “Own It” (Number One in the U.K.). In addition, he earned a Grammy nomination for Best World Music Album.
3) Krizbeaz Ft. Teni – African Times
Krizbeatz teamed up with Teni Makanaki for the release of this Africa anthem tagged “African Time”, self produced by the multi-talented music act.
This song is a follow up to the talented music producer, DJ and Sound Architect recent releases; ‘HIT ADM Remix‘, ‘Riddim‘ featuring Skales and Yemi Alade and ‘ABI‘ a good Afro melody, beat and dance vibe Diamond Platnumz graced with his irresistible vibe and dance steps in the music video.
4) Master KG – “Jerusalema (Remix)” ft. Burna Boy, Nomcebo Zikode
South African Buzzing recording artiste, Master KG.
“Jerusalema Remix” by Master KG featuring the African Giant- Burna Boy is another Smash Hit from Open Mic Productions. The original version had multi-talented vocalist Nomcebo Zikode (who is known for blessing records with sweet vocals), Burna came in with the Afro-fusion genre, talked about not be perfect and he strive to survive in the jungle.
Master KG sits on top of the world as one of the most decorated musicians of his generation as a recipient of the coveted continental and African diaspora Afrima 2018 Award for Best Electro and Dance; Afrimma 2019 Award for Best Male Southern Africa; SABC Summer Song 2018 for Skeleton Move; and the Limpopo Music Award for Best House Single for Skeleton Move.
5) Omah lay – You
Fast-rising Nigerian Alte singer, Omah Lay comes through as he presents a new song titled “You” taken off his much anticipated Extended play project, “Get Layd EP”.
6) Wurld – Wayo (kpe le Wu)
Talented Soul/Afrobeat singer WurlD releases a new impressive single titled “Wayo“. This another track off the forthcoming ‘AfroSoul’ EP. The new AfroSoul, AfroPop, Afrobeat record produced by Kel P, Teflon Zinc Fence is a follow up to his previous; ‘Ghost Town‘, ‘Love Nobody‘.
“Wayo” is the Nigerian slang for “Mind Games”.
7) Rudeboy – Woman
Fire Department INC releases a brand new record titled “Woman” delivered by Rudeboy. The production of this new smashing Afrobeat/pop record comes from Chrisstringz.
8) Mayorkun Ft. Davido – Betty Butter
Mayorkun, Davido – “Betty Butter”… DMW / 30BG top men’s Mayorkun and Davido teamed up for the release of a catchy record. The song titled ‘Betty Butter’ is a mid-tempo Afro-fusion track with lots of word-plays and infectious lambas. This would soon be the next anthem and rhymes on most peoples mouth.
The Mayor of Lagos and Baddest! delivered yet again another sure banger.
Ty Mix, Mayorkun’s “Bobo” with Davido as a guest artist at the time of its release was quite an explosive hit.
9) Oxlade – Away
The new kid Oxlade who is making waves in this industry has contributed to Nigerian music buoyancy with a new song named “Away“, produced by Spax.
new studio project ‘Oxygene‘ EP which features a vocal from Moelogo. ‘Shugar‘ in 2018; Oxlade has proven to be one of the prospects gaining attention in the mainstream.
10) Olakira – Maserati
Following the success of his previous release titled “Aya Mi”, Wakanda Jollof crooner, Olakira has released both the audio and visuals of “In My Maserati”.
