Nice vid.
I back the hi-res music market but sure not pono. It looks awful, touchscreens as only control is fatal and I kind of doubt that Neil young knows what he is talking about. I watched on of his interviews, dynamic range here and there, barely a word about mastering or recording with truly good equipment.
Right now I am pretty fine of with my FiiO X3. Perfect price/performance rate.
Good video but I'll continue to stick to my classic IPOD. No mention of UK price.

no UK adapter as far as i know… i backed on Kickstarter from Australia and they sent me a US adapter… but it makes no difference – it's just a 5w adapter u get with most phones so u can use that. no big deal. Pono sounds amazing. definitely worth pairing with a nice set of cans. 🙂
should also be noted that Neil Young was just a figure-head over at Pono. he's not an engineer and he didn't solder anything together on their production line. simple reason i went with Pono was price/ease of use/meeting the need for portable higher quality sounds…
It' Pono as in Edgar Allen "Poe" and "No". Please guys get this right. FWIW I am one of Pono's forum moderators and regularly meet with Pono so am completely clear about this. Hearing you mis pronounce it really grates.

Also, the PonoPlayer really needs to be burned in before it sounds at its best. And when it does it sounds very good indeed. Audio section was designed by Charlie Hansen at Ayre and he does not mess about… Don't forget the balanced mode output either, that is very special.

The shape is not good at all and the screen is low res and its terrible , I think ill wait for the FIIO X7

Triangle design looks to be an uncomfortable fit in a shirt/pants pocket. Most I assume carry a backpack.

This was marketed completely wrong and didnt help the confusion between millennials who have no clue whatsoever and the other end of ignorance; the audiophile. No bridges here.
For 400 bucks, I would have expected bluetooth (very latest rev) connectivity at least! Very disappointed.
