Being a real rapper requires you to write your own raps. And then you get to the part of either being a good rapper or bad rapper, which i doubt she would be a good rapper.

Honestly Lisa gives me the same energy as Hyunjin from skz, seventeen rap line, (maybe minus vernon, kinda) nct 127 rappers (minus mark) and so many others I can't think of rn ,all of them are just trying to play the role they were given by the company because it was the thing that suited them. c'mon let's be honest most k-pop rappers cannot rap and are all wannabe rappers,even the ones who write their raps aren't necessarily good,they're literally nothing compared to actual rappers
It's not that Lisa doesnt know how to rap, her songwriters has built her up to look like somebody that can only rap words that make no sense. She can rap, she can, YG ruined and wasted her talent in every way possible, the worst thing she did was join YG. Her flow can never change until she leaves YG AND BP, she can only do what YG tells her to do, as a foreign member, she will be easily outed if she ever changed her flow while she remained in the group, it's a YG tradition that started with CL, then went to Lisa, in the future, its going to happen to one of the rappers in BABYMONSTER. Quite frankly, it leads to a downhill path, if she had joined companies like JYP or HYBE, who actually knew how to change flows, her natural rapping skills would come out. Yes, Lisa isnt Eminem or Nicki MInaj but she is one of the best rappers in the kpop industry, YG just continues to make her rap about how she and her members are above everybody, THAT'S THE PROBLEM, because of YG, we still havent seen Lisa's full potential. You can see that when she covers other rap song (the one or two she was allowed.) The NUMBER ONE problem is the lack of audio releases (for example the one skz-record) where the girls could have freedom to release ORIGINAL songs apart from the reused Teddy version that we get fed every couple of months.

She had a interview in US and the question was something about rapping in the studio and she said that she feels a vibe when she records. “Idk is just a vibe” lol she clearly doesn’t know what rapping is and doesn’t know where it came from.
