Adam Berzowski plays the Yamaha YPG235 Portable Grand keyboard at Kraft Music.

The Yamaha YPG-235 portable keyboard features 76 piano-style keys with Graded Soft Touch action, stereo piano sound, a built-in recorder, Pitch bend wheel and USB computer connectivity. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced piano replacement, look no further than the YPG-235. It is the music student or professional musicians’ answer to “I need more keys!” and many music teachers encourage new students to get a keyboard that will grow with their needs. It features 76 non-weighted keys that not only look like piano keys but have a Graded Soft Touch (GST) action with different levels of resistance, making it easier for a budding musician to move to an acoustic or digital piano.

  1. Decent sounds but great playing. Looks much easier to play than my MOXF8 even though the YPG235 doesn't have the Motif sound library. If I'd had $4000 more I would have bought the Tyros 5. Oh well.

  2. He did a better job using the system than all the others I've check out. So glad I found him because from listening to him made me want to buy one. That's what I was in the process of doing but thought I would check some out on YOUTUBE. Big dude got it going on. Great Job Bro!!!
