The Milwaukee Choral Artists will presents “Northern Lights” on Saturday, October 22nd at 7:30 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 1615 Wauwatosa Avenue. This celebrated twenty voice women’s vocal ensemble will offer its audience a concert of inspiration from the evocative music of northern lands that will include Sami joik from Finland, folk songs from Latvia, Sweden, Finland, and Canada, contemporary sacred song from Sweden, world music from Wales, scenes evocative of the Canadian aurora borealis and the Norwegian tundra, and music from the indigenous peoples of Canada.
