3:55–4:26 is delicious writing. Keeps you on your feet!
It's also masterful writing for only four voices which is hard — a lot of choral writing is very dense chocolate cake in a sea of light strawberries which can be inaccessible for many. This is excellent, especially as many church/school choirs are still in rebuilding phases from Covid and may not have the horses they once did.
Truly an honor to sing this in a place with such a rich history of reconciliation and healing. You’re an amazing musician and a wonderful friend Isaac, I hope to hear so many more wonderful works from you.
