With the Chainsaw Man anime reaching an end recently and no season 2 announcement. I felt it was fitting to dive into the manga side of things and talk about the current manga events / arc. So Asa as a character has grown on me a lot after her whole date with Denji. I also think we can all agree she’s on the spectrum after how she’s handled things. Anyways I wanted to talk about Chainsaw Man Chapter 116 today!

I like asa but personally, I prefer denji as a main character.
It's too early to say since we barely know him that well yet but I got similar vibes about yoshida being on the spectrum. And I love the point that was made about how denji acted on the date showed his character growth. When I was reading it I couldn't quite put my finger on it like denji was still denji but it felt different and I didn't realize it was because he had grown up a little and it shows.

This chapter just resurfaced the one thing that pisses me off about part 2 so far. Where tf is Power, why hasn't Denji looked for her after literally losing his mind after getting her killed and promised to look for her. It's driving me mad not knowing how that developed over the time skip because before the comment in this chapter it seems like he completely forgot about her entirely.
Wasn't Denji's contract with Pochita to have a normal life which included meals and a girlfriend? He already has normal meals, so it'd be funny if Asa becoming his actual girlfriend fulfilled the contract and he stopped being Chainsaw Man
And I think fujimoto, I give us a very subtle (or clear if you want) reference to the Netflix series Atypical, with the MC being on spectrum and has a fixation with penguins….
I cannot fathom the possibility of Denji dying without being able to fulfill his promise to befriend the new blood devil. I feel like beyond all of the grotesque, cruel, and demented events Fujimoto's ever written, that would be going too far in terms of blue-balling the readers.
I just love asa. I want a slice of life with her to see how she is behave in more situation
This chapter confirmed my love for denji as a character, I always liked him and all but this chapter really help develop his character in an amazing way and I love it so much. Also asa might break my top 5 right now with denji, or close to it. Maybe I tie them at my 5th spot as I ship them
CSM Part 2 started off boring for me cause Denji's no fun, he's not the MC anymore, there are no Aki and Power to hype up the craziness….but in comes Chapter 116 to bring all the wholesomeness again, and I can't wait for future chapters of this arc!

If Asa is on the spectrum then I am honestly even more happy. Because I've already been enjoying her since her introduction and her having autism(possibly or at all) would be amazing and relatable to me. ^^

It's just crazy to me that people don't understand that Fujimoto doesn't like infinite stories, he hates the shines that go on for decades, he's just making this as an excuse to write something else but still ride with the hype of his ip
As someone with autism i highly doubt he had people with autism in mind. The Japanese tend not be very…well taught on mental health issues unlike in the west were we are pandered too constantly like other minorities. Its insulting to me quite frankly because all I’ve ever wanted was to be treated normally. Im tired of getting everything handed to me i wanna actually work for something in my life…its nice for a little while but Jesus Christ it gets to a point were you’ve effectively accomplished nothing and it makes you feel sad and pathetic.

I love Asa. There was a guy on YouTube Yumesuke Library. He loved her even assessing how Asa was a complete contrast to all other Shonen MC female waifus and how much he loved her, assessing even her Facial Neotony and what appeals to the male , but ultimately he decided to rant against her after she visited Denji n rest 119, just because she went to Denjis Apartment, calling her she belongs to the streets. Hey Yumesuke, or to any of his patrons, don't just throw her under the bus just cause you don't like Denji and she went with him. Denji is a lovable goof and i can happily share Asa with him. You're a complete sociopath who doesn't acknowledge any other's feelings towards something. Man i was 1cm close to subscribing to him bcos we shared a mutual interest at heart specifically 2 weeks back. He started ranting about her like how she's a complete disaster and the worse after having natted and used her, utter disgrace. For me, i still get the tingles when she comes to mind. Then He even proceeded to entirely change his preferences to the typical shonen ones, Yuki onna from In/spectre, i mean gotta say, Yuki is too tier waifu but if i were to choose considering all aspects of both waifus' personality and the personality Asa is class S elite. No cap. I mean if people are coming to rapidly change their preferences over some part of her life's story not meeting their expectations, then i don't know what tis world is coming to. I'm not a superfan of Asa but i like her than every other waifus. She isn't your normal typical shonen booba thicc uWu but she is presented as a great beauty, both in and out. And i am all in, her, and out too. Not many people understand what this means. There are few other channels out there too just like him out to get Asa And i mean where's the hate from? Is it denji, is it Asa, or IS IT YOU? IT IS YOU.

I just got into the story 1 month ago, watched the anime and read the whole manga, and i gotta say, I wasnt sure at first(with the trailer and all the hype people were saying it was great and i needed to watch it) but then i realised it is the most fun manga i have ever read in a while, the characters are interesting and the story is engaging af, FUCK im looking forward to see a Pochita flashback of his fight with the other devils. I am a sucker for "realistic" stuff like Baki The Grappler / DOU and Kengan Ashura/Omega due to the pure action, fights, character design art style and overall badassery… however CSM Story/Plot is way more entertaining for me at this time of my life after the whole COVID 19 Fiasco
