Have you ever wanted to turn your home console into a portable console? The PS2 was the home console that I always wanted to be portable… and the PSP almost fulfilled that dream. But what would be better than a PSP? An actual PS2 Portable console! And that’s exactly what this portable console from Aliexpress is. This Portable PS2 from Aliexpress uses real PlayStation 2 hardware and… it’s interesting. The one I bought had some issues, but the Portable PlayStation 2 from Aliexpress seems to work ok now – let me know down below what you think of this Portable PS2!

  1. These are all pointless if they don't have a disc drive, this is basically just a restricted emulator. I can just get a steamdeck that can emulate all consoles for like the same price.

  2. FUN FACT. This it stolen design that they sell. I've seen and also talked with guy who came with idea and execution for this project (aswell for other consoles) and i'm pretty sure he is not selling them since he refused to sell one to me and was not planning to sell them at all. If i will be able to find his channel i'll link it

  3. Inside the console there seems to be the original seller information on taobao which is a Chinese exclusive market so it seems like this console was resold to you buy a middle man aka drop shipping which means you paid extra and it’s probably cheaper if you bought directly of of taobao check the seller to see what the original price was

  4. This is sh**. Not even worth 20 dollar. Like almost everything Aliexpress sells. Cheap, fake sh**. Thats all.
Still interesting you test that things 😀

  5. Interesting but it seems much more cost effective to buy a steam deck and emulate PS2 and probably a better build quality from what I've seen in this video.

  6. Ayyyyyy I've got one of those.. it's called my phone, a controller, and emulators. It also plays (big inhale) Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advanced, Nes, Snes, N64, Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast, WII, WII U, Game Cube, MSX, Sega Master System, PS1, PSP, PS Vita, 2ds, 3ds… i think that's it?? Probably forgot some older stuff.. but yeah.. basically any previous console I could ever want to a certain point. it's also a ridiculously fast phone that fits in my pocket.. so.. yeah. Granted.. hauling an Xbox one controller or a Razer Kishi everywhere is a slight inconvenience.. but not near as much as carrying that thing.

  7. Can u PLEASE try an experiment to get it playing on a tv with multiple controllers?

Can u try getting an adapter for it to use with a capture card and a multi USB port dongle that comes with an HDMI port and like 3 USB ports(if u can't find one, can u try finding one the is another multi-tap for more USB slots) and connect 2 wireless ps2 dualshock 2 (or 3rd party controller) connect them and try seeing if it'll show up on the screen.
