Why do the narrators voices sound so familiar?
in all honesty there's no reason why the couldnt of just ported fes and attached the fem protag story with all the same design and it being more like a visual novel from portable . in all honesty i can play p3p on my phone . if it was fes or they combined the two id buy it , but seen as the games so easily emulatable i don't really feel like it. ill still buy golden because at least that feels like a complete game.

HostFS for Persona 3 FES is no longer available. None of this works without it. What a bummer.
The last thing I wanna do is jump through hoops to get a number of hodgepodged versions of persona games that run through obscure software. Yes, I've dabbled in emulation, and I know it's pretty straightforward. My point is that by comparison to a proper Steam release, it's… less than ideal.
I'll still check it all out to play around with and possibly focus on playing those versions, but I think I'm just gonna buy all the remasters and hope modders can sink into those. It's one of those "cake & eat it too" types of things I'm sure, but boy is it disappointing that Atlus couldn't deliver a proper remaster fit for a modern release.
I definitely like the idea of playing portably on my Switch, with a denser PPI, but still, I fucking adore P3 FES. It's my favorite game of all time, so believe me, I'm disappointed with official efforts, but all things considered, I'm still hyped! And long term, this is great for the series.

I think nearly everyone expected the eventual rerelease of P3 to be sort of a combination of P3P and P3 FES, so yea what Atlus did is dissapointing. Its not that one version is inherently superior or inferior, its simply having the game split like this that I personally find rather annoying. I want to be able to play Answer and try the female protagonist route in normal 3D backround. I dont know how hard this would have been but it certainly feels like Atlus just blew this off. Still glad its coming out tho and there are still rumors out there about actual remaster so maybe this is really just them putting it in peoples minds before releasing a new version, lets hope so.
Real late to this video but I’d really like to be able to see the female protagonist outside of tarturus. For context I mean her in game character model.

That persona 3 remake rumor better be real because persona 3 portable is indeed a sad rerelease with very little changes to the original, still gonna play it tho since I wanna get those achievements but when it gets a sale

I think I will just play a modded Persona 3 FES on my steam deck instead of P3P Remaster.

Well, it appears that a true P3 remake is on the horizon.
Atlus is lazy.
Atlus could've easily made it look like this, it's a shame, because the VN style could've actually been nice if they did this, I love the game, but the presentation is compromised.
As usual modders go above and beyond the actual devs of said game, and all done for free in their own spare time.
