  1. Shanling DAPs sound excellent, but there are balanced options in the price range and below. Also, use it one handed, the design is kick ass on ergonomics.

  2. AK Junior has colored sound. Vocals sound closer, and highs are sharp (with good headphones). So i think its meant for darker/cheaper headphones. Its not neutral, so….. i don't know if it makes sense to compare something to Jr.
Fiio's sound must be more neutral. Depends on what genres you listen to. So its important to talk about DAPs sound signature (dark or neutral or bright). There is not a single DAP that will make everyone happy.
I can listen to relaxing music like jazz, classical, ambient on AK Junior for hours, but at the same time absolute cannot listen to House, Trance, Rock etc. for 5 minutes. To do that ill have to take cheap/dark headphones, under 50$

  3. I'm looking for a DAP that supports Sony's Hi-Res Audio, has bluetooth and wifi so that i can stream Spotify etc. What can you recommend thats really really good and under $250?

  4. A meaty battery? 13 hours? Cowon DAP's at this price range have battery life of 48 to nearly 100 hours. (Plenue J, Plenue D) All the Chinese DAP's never go above 20 hours.

  5. Go To Google And Type: FreeCodesXXX This is actually the purely working spotify premium codes working from this month. Don't waste your precious time on other methods

  6. Isn't it crazy how hifi headphones reviews are products that they sell and happen to be the best ever made of each category? Ba dum tss!

  7. Thank you for your reviews. You mentioned that the sound was even better with balanced IEMs. Which were the balanced IEMs that you used? Neither the PFE232 and Ariveti you mentioned has balanced cables.

  8. I think you've sold me on this model…was thinking of getting the M2s. I've never owned balanced IEM's before tho…what models would you recommend that I can get in the US for under $150? Thanks in advance!

  9. Great review. Had to subscribe after seeing your music library. I thought for a second, "Wait. How is he scrolling through my library?" LICE, CoFlow, Edan, Akira Soundtrack, Squarepusher… all of it …except Slipknot. Is that just to test gear with terrible music? 😉 Kidding. Mostly.

  10. Pretty late to the party, but what's the warranty like in these? I can't find the info online. If anyone can help, that would be awesome. My ipod classic and 1more triple drivers met their ends within a week of one another, so my wallet is going to be a little sad. The triple drivers died a week out of warranty

  11. Good day, I want this dap, the only thing is I heard it has bright sound and my ears are sensitive for example to m50x headphones and the harsh fiio x5ii, is it bright? Thnks
