Mariah Carey x Khalid - We Talk (Mashup)

Mariah Carey and Khalid collaborate in my mashup titled “We Talk”. It features Mariah Carey’s hit single “We Belong Together” from her comeback album “The Emancipation Of Mimi” and Khalid’s hit single “Talk” from his album “Free Spirit”. I found myself listening to Carly Rae Jepsen’s cover of “Talk” on Soundloaded and as I scrolled through the comments I saw a lot of people say it reminded them of Mariah Carey. I was thinking “In what way does this sound like Mariah Carey?” but on further inspection I realised how similar the beat pattern between the two. It seems I wasn’t the only one as Masdamind and Oneboredjeu have also created their own versions. I think they sound very good together. Let me know what you guys think!
