Some thoughts on the backlash popular Nigerian artiste, Mr Eazi has received with regards to his comments on Ghana’s influence on Nigerian music.
Overall I think that culture, and music is not stagnant, and is constantly being influenced by other places.

If you are obsessed with Ghana that's fine. I also seem to be obsessed with Kenya so that's okay.
Unfortunately, you are doing this with a terrible bias and do not mind denigrating your own country while at it,unfortunately with little or no knowledge of what you're saying.
You failed to say exactly what part of Nigerian music shows any influence from Ghana. You just went on droning about how Nigeria's music was influenced by Funk, Pop, Raggae, Waltz and "Ghana Music" (As if "Ghana Music" is a Genre of music).
What exactly do you mean by "Ghana Music"??? If a Naija artists says "Odoo" or "Charle", then that is influence from Ghana? Really?
Do you know even how much impact Naija music has on Ghana music? And we are not making an issue out of it! So what then is the fuss all about?
Today's Nigerian music is mainly Afrobeat which you rightly admitted was generated by Fela and that is the dominant tone in naija jamz today.
Also, unknown to you, Raggae and dance Hall is not even so much of our style today (otherwise name up to 5 "RAGGAE" naija artistes today).
It is actually a Ghana that does a lot of the Raggae/Dance Hall thingy yet no one has crcucified them for copying Jamaican music.
Mr. Eazi (who seems to be out to create division and beef between Ghana and Nigerian musicians) should focus on his budding and and fragile music career and leave this unnecessary rivalry and you too should try to be objective and more neutral with your views.

I love this boy.
Ghanaians don't care about Nigeria, we are not in competition with them. Nigeria should compare themselves with south Africa, Kenya and hey should understand the elephant is the biggest mammal on earth and the size of it body cant be compare to a lion, but lion is the king. Ghana is a small country but we are very powerful and influential in Africa and the world. Three great things Ghana has done to prove, first to foster independent in Africa, nkrumah coined Africa free trade, Africa beyond aid and year of return of all black race to Africa.
Young with matured mind and wisdom. The truth must be told.

Afrobeat was created by Ghanaians not Fela. Fela only came to Ghana to learn.

Fela is not the founder of Afrobeat, Afrobeat was in Ghana since 1920s Fela only came to learn highlife music which comes with Afrobeat in 1970s from Ghana n he was the first to introduce Afrobeat in Nigeria not Africa asa whole or in the world. Ghanians always have this egocentric mind that anything good to ever happen to Africa is brought by them.
Sometimes I wonder were Nigerians had their education from cox they don't understand nothing.
