Lyrics:
Hello do you know where you are?
You’ve been out cold we almost called the cops
Don’t get up can you count to 10? Oh boy you’re so lucky we found you when we did
Cause there’s a lot of people here who wanna do you harm
But stay with me you fallen lamb and I’ll keep you in my arms
But I can’t live in the dream
The dream lives in me
Welcome child you’re free of the cage
Trying to seem sane makes you seem so strange
You look tired go on rest your head
Oh girl you’re so lucky we found you when we did
Cause there’s a lot of people here who wanna do you harm
But stay with me you fallen lamb and I’ll keep you in my arms
But I can’t live in the dream
The dream lives in me
But I can’t live in the dream
The dream lives in me

Here comes the Sun King
walking on a good amount of lucy during the peak to that solo
This was so nice to listen to it on headphones, everything is so well mixed!
I saw someone tweeted about this on twitter
and I love music that makes me feel like I am dreaming or hallucinating. . Absolutely love this 💕
Hello
The stars have finally aligned, I am finally listening to this music. I am only discovering St Vincent with this album, and my mind is blown! I have taken several walks with it, I have listened to it in the background, in the morning, in the evening… It just goes with lots of different places and times of the day. It's grounding, calming, and so SO beautiful. To me, it's strange at times, but in the best of ways, and not demonstrative at all. I don't think I've wrapped my mind around it completely yet – so I'm just listening to the album on repeat and still discovering new things every time haha. Thank you St. Vincent, for your music and for sharing who you are!
Absolutely beautiful and dreamy. 💛💛💛 I really love it.
Perfect <3
<3
Pink Floyd called they want their Dark Side of The Moon back :p
Omg stunning 😍 I feel Pink Floyd's vibes yet fabricated into something sexier.
This song takes you on a journey through the universe.
My favorite on the album
Holy cow!!!! How disturbingly beautiful! Worthy next-in-line to Pink Floyd at their best – and that is meant as high praise.
St Floyd. Great song.
Goosebumps
te amo annie<3
This is definitely gonna go down as a classic in Annie's discography. It's one of the best things she's ever written.
The guitar kicking in is so great, after minutes of reverb, the sound of clear, loud and bold guitar is insane. It sounds huge, the best way I can describe it is as if you're seeing a new color
One hell of a guitar solo.
A wonderful powerful song!!
ピンクフロイドのus and themみたいだ。
Looks like I found my new 'shroom song

This song is just incredible
This sounds like the kind of song that would have been on the show ‘Legion’ if it was still coming out with new episodes
Bring the old psychedelic atmosphere back!
The female side of Pink Floyd
Would not be out of place on the classic Dark Side of the Moon!
I see a facebook post with the albums released in this year, and see this album so cool, listening it, this song is A BOMB, love it
She looks like she stepped out of a Tarantino film…I love it! And don’t get me started on the music….as always she’s phenomenal.
top 5 annie songs
This was wonderful. 🥲🥲
amazing!
St. Vincent used a "Pink Floyd, Dark Side Of The Moon type beat" for the instrumental 🙂
this gave me a panic attack when I first heard it… then I hear people say "dark side of the moon" vibes and it makes sense. That album gave my my first existential crisis at 13. I think its a compliment <3
I love that guitar solo. ❤🌍🌎🌏
This song, close my eyes, healing 🧘
Easily one of my favorites in the whole album. It just melts into my soul like a Hershey kiss.
It almost sounds like another point of view or a response from someone else telling the story of Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd. Which is freaking brilliant. Who knows, it is lovely!!!
John Lennon, would love this.
Listening to this stoned hits harder
Amazing guitar
hypnotic
this shit is so crazy. she never ceases to surprise me. annie clark is a chameleon
This has such a blend of Us and Them and Comfortably Numb vibes while being it's own thing altogether. I dig it. Not to mention strong Twin Peaks reference. "We are the dreamers, who dream, and then live inside the dream"
The first time I heard this song I couldn't believe what I was listening to. There are so many great things about this song. First of all the singing is just beautiful. Lyrically it works as an ideal centerpiece for the album. Choice of tempo is inspired. Everything is mixed perfectly and the use of reverb and echo are tasteful. The chord change at around 3:19 grabs me every time I hear it. All the instrumental parts are wonderfully written and played and the solo is badass. Fading out with those sounds becoming increasingly muffled puts you exactly where the artist wants you to go. I'm shocked how great this song is as something so clearly inspired by Ms. Clark's influences but so unique at the same time. WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT!
