I don’t really see anything wrong with the video😅
I don’t know his tribe and what he’s trying to communicate to the people through his music. But this song has a cultural touch which isn’t bad. Masquerade isn’t a bad thing🌚. It’s the African culture. Other African countries have them.
The other one is left for Omah Lay to answer😂😂✌🏽
Am a Zambian but whatever he's saying we don't care we enjoy Nigerian music ✌️✌️🇿🇲🇿🇲
People will pure so much dirt and pain on you in this world, so omah lay is praying to the gods of the land to take all the pains and dirt away
in nigeria soso means highest like when you get drunk ..🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾
You are making sense broda, they was always a reason why I disliked omah lays new album
SOSO symbolizes the deity or god, he is basically asking the deity for help because he has sinned. It seems Omah lay broke an oath with his people in the secret organization and now he is asking for help and forgiveness because the effect of what he did will lead to either the death of him or someone he really cares about. After I listened to this song, I read the lyrics to his whole album, and it correlated with my statement above. The only thing is I pray Omah lay gets delivered because if somebody knows what he did to be famous, I doubt people will be listening to him again…
don't sentiment about what you want enjoy that is tradition in my country 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🙏🙏🙏
Oga you be mumu, why are you still watching and you kept on watching.
You don’t know him neither do you what he’s into and you talking rubbish
His flute, his masquerade, his belief and…
Is absolutely non of your business
Take care of yourself before reacting😅
Anyway just made your comments 16😅
Wow this actually explains a lot ☺️☺️❤️, well-done bro 🔥
He complains about the video and goes back into grooving to the song😅
Nice share!! You could easily get more people watching with "promo sm".
you no get sense oo
The meaning behind this song is so complex that only those with a spirit of discernment will be able to explain it. The white hoodie represents the man as pure as snow, free from any problems, while the various colours that are being painted onto him now represent the various problems he is currently dealing with. The dark girls you can see there represent the dark moments that bring about depression and other afflictions (remember #colors are presented as different kinds of problems that’s why you see different colors there been poured on him and they are coming from dark places Or rather dark moments). Finally, the masquerade, shows how your adversaries are enjoying what you are going through that’s why you see that masquerade chanting like that.
If you go on his YouTube page, he has a behind the scenes video that explains his visuals.
I understand the manny but I won't pour here he is gone hey yeah I sorry for the boy forget the masquerade the lyrics says everything hey
Mad song though love it 😆❤️❤️💯💯💯
It's a ritual video…the paint reps blood
By staining his white shirt it means that his hands are already stained
You people should understand 1single things we are african and we have our own culture which God almighty gifted us, there's nothing wrong ,he asked his ancestors for blessings. We all do it, when we drinks before taking our drink we pour some on the ground it also means something. So I'm seeing nothing wrong for the Masquerade
Brada, my man was expressing his artistic integrity. Regardless of your personal opinion. Big up, my 9aija brother!!
As an African is there any such thing as being too cultural? Lmaoo We literally are the culture.
