I'm so proud to be a Nigeria
For me Nigeria opened the door in terms of global exposure. There are various factors which contributed to this:
1. Nigerians are almost in all countries around the world and in numbers more than any African country, this makes it easy for them to have a large global reach. I mean they can easily introduce & influence other people towards their music. Thts why they caf fill stadiums in Europe, USA etc. I can futher elaborate on this but I shall leave it here.
2. In terms of the likes and views on e.g. youtube snd other platforms they would definitely have high numbers because of their large population, and that of their neighboring countries, and they are everywhere on the globe as mentioned above,
3. Nigerian music is similar to other African countries ( except e.g. SA) those people in other African countries will therefore obviously support the music they are most familiar with.
In condluding, Nigerian music is very good. But I personally think that it is not the best in Africa. There are just a number of factors working to their advantage. For me is a case of all that glitters is not always gold. One love❤
