Caspian – Asa

Caspian - Asa

“CASPIAN is a rock band from Beverly, MA,
a seaside town 20 minutes north of Boston.
Nobody sings.
Most of the time, we play very loud.
Sometimes quite soft.
We always try to play with heart.
So far we have recorded three albums.
The process is always evolving.”

  1. Relive, relight the beacon
    Memory meandering
    True sight
    Unseen
    Empathy is flowering
    Garden, harvesting
    Weeds
    Pulled hard
    Pulled forth
    Golden grandeur
    Ever over
    Full fall
    Free, nothing
    Empty me
    Lunar, revolving
    Cycles, consuming
    Sand, quickly spilling
    You have nothing
    Know nothing else
Am not who I will be
    Will feel
    Anything else
    Love long
    Live, breathe
    Die, lacking
    Regrets
    To your feet
    Love long
    Full forward
    Hard nose
    Broken home
    Still on
    Full forward
    So hope
    Stays golden
    Ever over
    Full forward

  2. These are my lyrics, crafted after having created a bond with this song these last 4 years. Someone very special to me once recently passed away after some rather dark times and this was wholly 'our song'. It's different listening to it now, in good and bad ways. For reference, each line starts with a capital letter (aside from any 'i's). I'm not concerned if anyone likes or doesn't like them, but she always told me to share what makes you most happy.
    Love live life well, friends.

  3. There is nothing that I love more than stare at the universe in the night, and this song, God, there is no words to say what I it makes me feel.  great song

  4. This is the first time I have listened to this song in years….. Trying to replace old, painful memories with new ones. Sometimes it's a disadvantage that music affects me so much….. Oh well, the silver lining is that I get to rediscover it all over again 😉

    Thanks for the upload 😀

  5. Always a strange feeling when such personally impactful music has nuances like the length being your birthday and you don't notice until way after you initially listened to it. The world is a mysterious trip.
